Go-to Wardrobe Staples

This top isΒ another one of my past Stitch Fix purchases. Actually, the pants are too. They are examples of pieces that have become staples in my wardrobe. Today I topped them off with a gold statement necklace from Kohl’s, a few white and gold bracelets, and metallic shoes.

It was a super-simple look, but very comfortable. Perfect for those more active teaching days. You know, the ones where you’re waving your arms around, milling around from student to student, and hiking to the library or computer lab and back..

Source Info — Short-sleeve sweater: $39 (Stitch Fix); Black 5-pocket jeggings, $68 (Stitch Fix); Necklace: $10.99 (Kohl’s); Shoes, $99, Born (similar); Bracelets: Really old

Here’s a close-up of this gorgeous (and inexpensive!) necklace from Kohl’s.

I love pieces like (all) of these that you can mix and match. They’re the type that I’ll still be reaching for years from now (assuming they’re as durable as I hope they are).
