Year-Round Maxi Skirt Inspo (+ $25 Stitch Fix Coupon!!)

You might remember I got this Loveappella maxi skirt from my 21st Stitch Fix last week. Since I received it, I’ve worn it several times here and there and I’m growing to like it more and more. At first I was iffy on the colors, but the fact that it has blue, red-pink-coral, black-gray, tan, and cream makes it incredibly versatile. I thought the colors were a little too “autumn” for summer wear, but boy, was I wrong. Check it out:

Summertime Maxi

summer

Okay, here’s how I styled it for “summer.” You can’t really tell, but I have flat strappy tan sandals on. My necklaces are sort of boho – a long beaded tassel and a double length beaded strand. For a summer night out I’d pair this with either a denim jacket or maybe an olive military/cargo jacket (okay, I don’t have one of these, but I can totally see it!).

Spring & FallΒ Maxi

Then for fall or spring I’d add a chambray shirt and ankle boots. I’m wearing it with a medium blue chambray, which I think would work for either spring or fall, but if you wanted it to look even more autumn-y you could wear a dark chambray or denim shirt with it, and likewise you could make it even more spring-y by wearing it with a pale blue chambray/denim shirt. I switched the boho beads for a double-wrapped brass chain necklace and also added a thick leather and gold cuff to the layered bracelets I already had on.

Winter Maxi

I didn’t actually play around with outfits for winter (because it’s too hot outside right now!), but I will be wearing this maxi with boots and a comfy cream colored warm sweater, or I might even pull out a black turtleneck and denim jacket combo. So many options!
