I’m so incredibly excited about a new feature I’m in the process of adding to Everyday Teacher Style: an online store! Awhile back I wore a graphic tee featuring the word READ shown in a way that it looked like a rock band t-shirt:
So anyway, I got this shirt a long time ago at a table at a teacher conference. I have searched and searched, but haven’t been able to find any more like it, so……drumroll…..I made my own graphic on Adobe Illustrator, uploaded it to a direct print & ship company, and hooked it up to Shopify eCommerce, and voila.
In addition to the “READ” tees, I also created a tote bag and a mug with this same image. And the coolest part is, you can buy them right from my own website! Well, I hope….I did a test run and ordered a few things for myself and the order is being fulfilled right now. Can’t to wait to receive my own order…from my own shop!
Once I receive my own order and make sure everything looks nice and works perfectly, I will activate the buying function on my Shop page, and then it’s game on!
These are the products I’ll be selling once my store officially opens:
If any of you who are reading this already have experience with this sort of thing, please, please, please share advice, tips, and insights you’ve learned from your experience. Thanks!
