Remember that Market & Spruce “Auria” Embroidered Dress from my 26th Stitch Fix featured on the blog last Friday? If you’re like me, you may have looked at the flatlay of the dress and thought, “Oh, the fabric is cute, but the dress is just okay.” Wrong! See what it looks like when you put it on?
I’m wearing it here with Clarks “Mission Philby” boots (don’t think they’re available any longer) and a Stella & Dot black Arc pendant.
I’m at school today, but I’m planning on wearing this dress again tomorrow to our family’s Thanksgiving dinner. Since it’s chilly, I’ll throw on this regular-length tan cardigan that nips in at the waist a little: it lines up perfectly with the elastic waist of the dress. With my build I need things to come in at the waist or I look like a blimp.
I think it would also look really cute with a longer tan cardigan I have, not to mention a jean jacket, a moto jacket, a knotted chambray shirt, leggings, a turtleneck, and/or about 100 other things. It’s surprisingly versatile!
I love that I’m going to be able to wear this dress ALL FOUR SEASONS! Woohoo!
