Blush Pink Cable Knit Sweater — Sized Waaaay Up

Anyone else really digging blush pink lately? I think it’s starting to creep back into people’s wardrobes based on what I’m seeing on Instagram lately. I have never, ever been one to wear pink, but it’s calling to me right now and I have picked up a few pink items like the sweater I’m wearing here.

Speaking of this sweater, I got it on sale at Target for just $5.98. Yep, you read that right: $5.98. Sounds like a typo, doesn’t it? It comes in a bunch of colors. I got mine in the store and the only size they had left was 2XL. I’m typically a M or L in Target tops so I was a little worried, but I snapped it up anyway because the color is just perfect. When I tried it on, granted, it’s a bit wide for me, but I actually love how it looks big and loose–almost like it’s supposed to be that way! Paaaahfect.

Guess I could have checked to see if it’s available in smaller sizes online (it is as of today), but I’m totally okay with going bigger on this one. It looks super-cute with both skinny jeans and leggings and that’s what I will most often be wearing it with anyway.

I realize I’m in a classroom in this photo, but I wanted to see what this sweater and scarf would look like with my cute beanie from Mindy Mae’s Market (sold out).

I do wear a tee underneath the sweater because the knit is loose enough that it could be see-through in places. Plus, it was cold in my classroom this day so it was nice to have layers.

So although pink is new for me, I think maybe I’ll try incorporating it into my outfits a little more often.
