What to wear for Casual Friday

Happy Friday, friends! Maybe it’s just me, but Fridays in that January-February stretch are the ones I look forward to more than any others in the school year.

Today I’m sharing several outfit ideas featuring my Casual Friday tee, which comes in white with black letters, black with gray letters, plum with tan-gold letters, green with tan-gold letters, and apricot with gray letters. My two favorite colors are the apricot and the white, both styled here. Check ’em out!

Casual Friday Outfit for a School Day

I love the bright, pretty colors in this outfit. It could be worn just about any of the four seasons by adding or removing the sweater, swapping out ankle boots for sandals (or some sweet silver Birkinstocks!)

This next one is also great for a school day during spring, summer, or fall.

Casual Friday outfit for a Night Out

I love that this outfit is a little more edgy and chic, but still totally casual. This outfit is up for just about anything your Friday night can dish out. Yes, these pants are faux leather (they’re Kut from the Kloth ‘Brigitte’ Faux Leather Ankle Skinnies) — they’re cut like 5-pocket jeans, which I find SO much more flattering than the “liquid” leggings style pants. I think it would be cute to throw on a maroon suede moto jacket or a cute bomber jacket with this (wish I had either of those…).

Casual Friday for a Day Off School (or Inservice Training)

This outfit is a little more cazh than I would go for a regular school day, but I would totally wear this for inservice training, at a conference, or maybe even an early-out or non-school day. Okay, who am I kidding….I know I would wear this on a regular school day, too. πŸ™‚ But on a regular school day I would probably swap out the Lululemon High Times pant (leggings) for some black jeans or a cute pair of dressy black joggers (if I had any….wish I did!).

Casual Friday during Winter or Spring Break

This outfit is definitely too casual for school. The stripey bottoms are stretchy, cozy lounge pants from Mindy Mae’s Market and the pink cardigan is from Jess Lea Boutique (two of my favorite online boutiques to follow on Instagram, by the way!). I actually wore this very outfit during winter break and it was sooooo nice.
