Ever have those days when you just don’t know what to wear? I have them about once a week. Usually it’s a day when I have something picked out the night before, but when I wake up, I don’t feel like wearing it anymore and want to go for something easier or more comfortable.
If you have those days too, I can solve your problem in three little words: chambray and black.
This combination always looks good, is always comfortable (assuming your black pants or jeans are comfy — mine are actually elastic-waisted jeggings that look like jeans (the Liverpool “Sienna” jegging linked below), but feel like yoga pants), and can be dressed up or down depending on your footwear. With a fashion sneaker (white Converse would do the trick), it’s cool and casual; with peep toe booties (like the ones I’m wearing here) or some loafers (try leopard ones, like these!), it’s work-propriate. With sandals or heels, it can even be dressy. Alternately, you could swap out the black jeans with black leggings and boots for a comfy weekend look.
