If you’re like me, you’re tired of pulling the same old orange and tan fall decorations out of storage every year. This year I wanted to change things up and give my fall home decor a more modern, unique vibe. Today I’m sharing four fabulous bloggers’ fresh twists on fall home decorations, as well as a peek at my own fall decor.
1. Lindi & Russell’s Fall Home Tour at LoveCreateCelebrate.com
Who knew cozy and modern could coexist so well. Check out Lindi & Russell’s fun fall decor, which includes graphic black and white touches and that sweet little metallic pumpkin. You know I love black, white, wood, and plants for a clean, modern look, so this decor is right up my alley.
2. Laura’s Fall Home Tour at HarperHomeDesigns.com
Pops of turquoise, copper pumpkins, and bold graphic prints are some of the characteristics of Laura’s fall decor. See more of her porch, as well as some indoor decor, in her fall home tour.
3. Kelly’s Black and White Halloween Tablescape at LiveLaughRowe.com
When you think of a Halloween tablescape, you probably think of kitschy grinning jack-o-lanterns, cartoony witches and spiders, and loads of garish orange and black. This black and white tablescape is hauntingly beautiful and simply elegant, while still having an element of fun (check out the vintage photograph). I’m proud to say Kelly is a friend of mine in real life, and she truly is a creative genius.
4. Ariel’s Colourful & Magical Fall Dining Room at PMQforTwo.com
Who says fall decor has to center around brown, tan, and orange? Ariel has created a feast for the eyes that surely brings a smile to anyone who walks into her dining room. Those bright, cheerful colors are something to be thankful for. And best of all, I spot a couple of little Target dollar spot pumpkins in there (the white one with glittery black spots and stripes): I only know because I have the same ones. 🙂

Okay, now that you’ve seen the good stuff, I’ll show you how my own home decor was inspired by the amazing bloggers above. This year I tried to avoid orange, incorporate some black and white, drop in touches of metallics, and choose a fun, different color than I don’t usually associate with fall: green. My inspiration came from these ladies as well as the Target dollar spot where I found the green and white ceramic pumpkins as well as the little plastic black and white glittery ones.
Creepin’ it real, yo (that cute little sign is from Gordmans). Loving how the white, black, and pale green look with the warm woods in my living room.
Hey there, cute little ghostie. You look pretty good next to my thrifted copper planter and little fake succulent from the Target dollar spot.
It’s just a little HOCUS POCUS! (Have you watched it yet this fall? I have!)
Don’t you love the little gold stems on these ceramic pumpkins?
Have you tried this stuff? IT SMELLS SO GOOD! Hours after cleaning my kitchen counters I can still smell the pumpkin spice. You can buy just the Clean Day Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner spray or you can get the Kitchen Basics set with spray, hand soap, and dish soap. Mmmmmmm, love it. If you are #teampumpkinspice then you need this. You can thank me later.
