Okay, maybe the title of this post is a bit of a stretch, but you sure can change the look of your outfit by changing your shoes. Today I’m featuring one incredibly simple outfit with 4 very different pairs of shoes. The possibilities are endless, and it just goes to show you that with a basic set of closet essentials and a few pairs of fun shoes, you’ve got a lot of options.

  • Black or white sweater with jeans
  • Maroon tunic, sweater, or long cardigan with black faux leather leggings
  • Black jeans with a graphic tee
  • Graphic tee + blazer with jeans
  • Chambray shirt with white jeans
  • T-shirt dress with denim jacket

You get the idea. Once you’ve got the basic pieces, it’s all just a matter of mixing in a few statement pieces. Basics really can take you anywhere…if you’ve got the right shoes.
