Not for Regular Moms….for Cool Moms
Today I’m excited to share my 5th Evereve Trendsend box with you. If you’ve been to an Evereve store, you know they absolutely nail the whole “effortlessly chic casual mom” thing, and their styling service, Trendsend, brings this look right to your door to try on at home (think Stitch Fix, but from Evereve). This box was great, and if I weren’t trying to stick to my budget, I would’ve bought everything in it. Here’s what they sent.
- Kut From The Kloth “Donna” ankle skinny jean ($71.20)
- Peyton Jensen camo faux fur bomber jacket ($102.40)
- Peyton Jensen “Billie” long sleeve tunic tee ($46.40)
Note: These prices reflect a 20% discount I got because I referred a friend (another Trendsend perk!). I kept all three of these pieces! The jeans and tunic are great staples to mix into my closet, and the camo bomber is a cute statement piece for fall and winter.
- Kut from the Kloth “Terry” hi-lo denim jacket
- Allison Joy “Arianna” pencil floral shell
- Kut from the Kloth “Mia” ponte pant with faux pockets
I wanted to keep all 3 of these pieces, too, but I had to draw the line somewhere. The shell was pretty, but not exactly my favorite colors, and the denim jacket was super-cute, but I already have one. I was extremely tempted by the ponte pants! I have been on the lookout for a perfect pair that I can dress up for work or down for weekends: these would have fit the bill, but they were too long on me and a bit too tall in the waist area. I’ve tried Old Navy’s ponte pants and a few others and I just can’t find exactly the right fit: however, I may have found it in a really cool way — I’ll tell you all about that in an upcoming blog post.
So much fun!
Even though I like to think I can put together some okay outfits by myself on occasion, I still think it’s a lot of fun to receive style boxes in the mail. For one, the stylists usually send me something I’d never consider trying on my own ( like the fur camo jacket AND the black striped tunic I received this time). I really prefer trying clothes on at home, and when you combine that with the whole “never would have considered that” factor, it really helps me round out my closet without a lot of effort. Plus, it’s pretty fun. Trendsend is another great online/mail-based styling service if you’re looking for new options. Whatever you want, no hassles. And since it’s by Evereve, you know it’s going to fit your cool-mom (or cool-teacher!) vibe.
