Walmart Fashion Finds for Winter

Budget-Friendly, Versatile Time and Tru Picks

Been to Walmart lately? Even if you haven’t, you’ve probably heard the buzz about their Time and Tru women‘s and Terra & Sky plus size fashion lines. Heck, even their No Boundaries juniors line has upped the style factor. Today I’m sharing a few Time and Tru pieces I bought this winter that will be on major repeat throughout the rest of the year because they’re so easy to mix and match into any wardrobe.

Pleated Midi Skirts

Last summer I bought an adorable red jersey pleated skirt from, and this winter they added a faux leather pleated skirt to their lineup. I got mine for under $15, but you may want to size down. I bought my typical size medium, but it’s a little roomy around the waist. Shop it here.

Chunky Knit Sweaters

As we’ve seen all over the ‘gram lately, Walmart has had very cute graphic sweaters with fun words (like “happy” and “hello, sunshine“) and images (cute dogs, hearts, etc.) on them. But they also have several great chunky knit sweaters in lots of on-trend colors. I’m wearing this one (below) in the photo above. Shop it here. It comes in 7 different colors, including a really pretty red-coral and sunny yellow.

Okay, I’m really picky about jeans. If you’d have told me I’d ever wear a pair of jeans from Walmart, I wouldn’t have believed you. I thought you had to pay at least $50 to get a pair of jeans that looks decent on people who aren’t models. Wrong. All of the jeans you see me wearing in the outfits above are from Walmart’s Time and Tru line. They are midrise ankle straight jeans that are a bit relaxed and just slightly stretchy: enough to make them comfy, but not enough to make them bag or stretch out. Perfect. I can honestly say they’re my favorite jeans right now! I think the ones I’ve linked below are the same ones I’m wearing, but it’s hard to tell because I got them in the store and the stock changes pretty quickly at our local Walmarts. Shop them here. I’ve heard their Time and Tru Core Skinny Jeans are really good, too.

Duster Cardigans

I’m a sucker for a great long cardi. After all, you can dress them up with black or print pants for school, throw them on over a dress, or rock them on the weekends with jeans or leggings. You can see the long dark teal duster cardigan I’m wearing above, and I also have a similar, but slightly shorter and a little heavier/warmer, one in a pale pink. The longer one comes in 6 colors and is under $15. Shop it here.

Easy Pullovers

You’ll also find a lot of Time and Tru tops, from the famous v-neck waffle knits to the sweatshirt-like drawstring waist pink striped pullover I’m wearing above. This top also comes in white/black stripe as well as a few solid colors. Shop it here.

I started popping back into Walmart last year (see my post on Walmart teacher outfit picks for back to school and my post on their Scoop fashion line launch). If you’ve been to Walmart lately, what are some of the Walmart fashion gems you’ve noticed? If you haven’t been for a while, it might just be safe to return. πŸ™‚
