Why a Capsule Wardrobe?
A capsule wardrobe is a small number of clothing items that can be styled into lots of different outfits. Benefits of a capsule wardrobe are that you can pare down and save space, of course. However, many people like to pull a small capsule wardrobe from their larger collection of clothes several times a year. Working from a capsule wardrobe means you don’t stand in front of your closet, overwhelmed with endless choices. Instead, you select from just a few items, which saves lots and lots of time (and stress if you tend to feel like you have “nothing to wear” even though you have a closet full of clothes).
Time is one thing teachers don’t have a lot of, so working from a smaller wardrobe capsule, especially at the beginning of a new school year, is a really good idea. As you can see, mixing and matching from a set of great basics gives you tons of outfit options. I hope this JCPenney teacher outfit wardrobe capsule gives you some ideas and inspiration for creating your own teacher outfits!
